Camp Tule Counselor-in-Training (Volunteer)

Volunteer this summer and help create meaningful nature-based experiences for children. Counselors-in-Training (CIT) volunteer during Camp Tule sessions to help lead games and environmental education activities, and to create fun, safe and meaningful nature-based experiences for children while building their own leadership and job skills. Camp Tule Naturalist (Temporary)

We are looking for experienced naturalists, environmental educators, or scientists who love creating meaningful, outdoor experiences for children. Camp Tule staff work together to help youth ages 6 to 12 learn about the plants and animals of the Laguna ecosystem while building camper comfort and a sense of belonging in nature. Naturalist help form the camp culture, design explorations for large and small groups, and serve as a mentor to the Counselors and Counselors-in-Training. Camp Tule is fun and joyful with myriad opportunities to hone field teaching skills. Please read full position details before applying. Must be at least 18 years old.

Being a Counselor at Camp Tule might just be the right place for you!
