Often data and materials are difficult to find and use beyond the original project that produced it, and it can be a time-consuming endeavor to assemble data for a larger view. | |
Notes | Deanne DiPietro is the Research and Information Systems Program Manager at Sonoma Ecology Center where she oversees a wide variety of projects conducting spatial data analysis, database and software development, and modeling in support of watershed research and restoration. Deanne holds an M.A. in Geography and a B.S. in Botany from UC Davis. She specializes in solutions for better data management and sharing, and has taught hundreds of data owners how to catalog and share their environmental data. Deanne is dedicated to addressing the environmental community's information management challenges and the promotion of open data access for improved environmental decision-making. | |
